Handbuilt in a small garage by AFS Custom bikes from Taiwan. This ‘Cub’ left the factory as a stocker SYM 90, a domestic stepthrough similar to the Honda Cubs.
Girder fork with low handlebars, hardtailed frame with welded on ducktail. Gastank hidden underneath the seat with brass fillercap on top of ducktail fender. Steel framecover, intricate paintjob, slick tyres.. Every part of the SYM seems to have been modified. The welding looks the part, as can be seen in the mock-up pictures on the AFS blog..
